Emerging Talent: Moxiie, The Jungle Pop Queen!

Being as it's Emerging Talent Month here on BUZZNET and I'm like obsessed with finding new things, I thought it was high time that I introduce you guys to the genre splitting and creating recording artist known as Moxiie.
This Brooklyn, NY native mixes imagery with substance by manipulating and bending musical genres into her own appropriately named sound "Jungle Pop". Her sound, while new to the ears, is a blend of everything from Jungle to Pop to Dance To Underground House and beyond, making for a sensory overload of epic proportions.
She crashed on to the scene with her delicious E.P. also titled "Jungle Pop" in December 2011, the collection was both exciting, daring and experimental in a way that's rarely seen now. On top of that, her unique Alexander McQueen-esque vaudville meets macabre sense of style brings a dash of the quirky and eccentric to the table.

Exactly a year later in December 2012, Moxiie released her daring full length debut album "Savage" with a splash of Avant-garde visuals and bananas beats, she hit another one out of the park. She's featured as well on some of the hottest underground tracks from the likes of The Kickstarts and more.
Her unique energy and sound has cemented her status as a MTV Buzzworthy Artist with the crazy track “Dancing In Dirt” from "Jungle Pop" and more recently, the track “Lay Down Your Crown” from "Savage". This "Queen of Underground Pop" is one melting pot that is about to boil over big.

As both a friend of hers and a fellow creative animal, I am excited to see what is in store from this emerging artist. As one of my favorite Buzzhearts, Sara Scoggins would say #musicrules! Yes, It does indeed. Thanks for reading.
