When I heard that BUZZNET was doing an awesome photo challenge, I had to get in on it. Besides, any thing to show off our own individuality, you know? For the first week, we had to pick our favorite outfit/pair of shoes.

To match my decidely midwestern meets new york streetwear chic style, my favorite would be this white polka dotted (the polka dots are geometric shapes) dress, my favorite bangles, my signature owl necklace and my favorite faux leather vest. I couldn't pick a pair of shoes because, I have and love so many of them.

This outfit is my favorite because, it reminds me that even 3, 000 miles away from home, my upbringing and where I come from won't leave me.
